Pre-programmed training plans: These plans are for athletes who just want a training plan to follow with little contact with a coach. Plans vary in length according to the target race the athlete is participating in. There are 3 different training plans for each of the race distances, beginner, intermediate, and advance. The athlete receives the entire program once payment is received. Sprint Distance Pre-planned program: 12 week program - $85 Olympic Pre-planned program: 12 week program - $85 Half-Iron Distance Pre-planned program: 16 week program - $100 Iron Distance Pre-planned program: 20 week program - $110
On-line Custom Training Plans: These plans are for the athletes who want interaction with the coach. There are three different levels of custom training plans offered by TTO Coaching.
Bronze: Athlete questionnaire and in-depth interview via telephone with Coach to determine specific goals and current athletic ability. This plan includes unlimited email contact and one phone contact every 2 weeks with the Coach. Training plan can be adjusted by the Coach every 2 weeks. Training plans are sent out in 8 week increments. The first 8 weeks of the plan must be purchased in advance. $30 set-up fee; $15 per week. Silver: Athlete questionnaire and in-depth interview via telephone with Coach to determine specific goals and current athletic level. This plan includes unlimited email contact and one phone contact every week with the Coach. Training plan can be adjusted by the Coach every 2 weeks. Training plans are sent out in 8 week increments. The first 8 weeks must be purchased in advance. $30 set-up fee; $20 per week.
Gold: Athlete questionnaire and in-depth interview via telephone with Coach to determine specific goals and current athletic level. This plan includes unlimited email contact and phone contacts per week with the Coach. Training plan is adjusted as many times as needed by the Coach. This also includes analysis of workout results by the Coach on a weekly basis. Recommendations from the analysis is discussed with the athlete via phone communication and/or email communication. Training plans are sent out in 8 week increments. The first 8 weeks must be purchased in advance. $30 set-up fee; $25 per week
. Northern Virginia/Manassas area in-person Training Programs: TTO offers two types of programs for athletes wanting in-person training with a Coach - group and individual.
Group Training: Group training has many advantages. One of these which the athlete gets to meet, interact and learn from other athletes who have a passion for triathlons. There are two ways to enter a TTO Training group. The first is to sign-up for a specific target race which TTO is Coaching in a group setting. These groups can have between 4 - 15 athletes of varying ability. The second is to form a group of 4 or more athletes and TTO Coaching will work with your group to determine goals, group workout times and workout locations. Group workouts generally take place 3 times per week for both types of program (1 per discipline). However, more or less times can be coordinated in the initial interview. May also include clinics for each of the disciplines. The first 8 weeks must be purchased in advance by each athlete. $25 set-up fee per athlete; $25-40 per week per athlete (includes pool time). Individual Training: TTO Coaching offers training programs for athletes who desire the ultimate in full- service individualized coaching experience. Training plans are tailored in detail according to the athlete's goals and current fitness level. The pinnacle of this program is the one-on-one interaction with the coach. The athlete determines how many one-on-one sessions are wanted with the coach. A maximum of 5 one-on-one sessions can be included. The first 8 weeks must be purchased in advance. Prices for this program start at $50 per week.
